As with any expensive purchase, buying a Bernese Mountain Dog requires a great deal of forethought. You must consider the care, attention and exercise required as well as the costs of feeding and medical care. Like most things in life, owning a Bernese Mountain Dog has both upsides and downsides. Getting a Bernese puppy is not a decision to be taken lightly. Some of the questions you must consider are:

They will surely steal your heart away and be your constant loving companion for as long as they live. We have been breeding Bernese since 1988. We have bred many dogs who have attained their Championship titles as well as draft and obedience titles. All our dogs have their hips and elbows cleared with OFA or GDC. They also have their eyes cleared by an ophthalmologist and are certified through CERF. All health clearances can be found on any dog's page. When we place a puppy it is with the intention of maintaining a lifelong relationship with the new owners.
